Yellow, White, Yellow - this is how fast you can change from one color to another with these J1D LED kits. When you first turn your fog lamps on they will be white. To change colors, simply turn them off and back on and you will have yellow fog lamps. It can't be any simpler. Bulbs remember the last color setting before they were shut off, so if yellow is what you want everytime you turn your fogs ON, then it will stay so until you change the color to white. The J1D series LED is the latest in LED headlight bulb design, offering fanless LED bulb body, and super thin 2.5mm copper plate for virtually shadow-less light projection. What this means is that headlights will get nearly 360 degree light source, minimizing spots with no light to only a thin line. These LED lights are designed for projector style headlights or fog lights, but will work in reflector style headlights as well. The bulbs are completely waterproof and dust proof.

USAGE:
To switch between colors, you should allow at least 2-3 seconds between ON/OFF/ON cycles. Starting color is white. OFF/ON sequence will change the color to yellow.
NOTE:
If lights ever become de-syncronized, meaning one will be yellow and the other white, simply keep pressing the ON/OFF light switch fast (0.5 second intervals), switching the lights to ON and then OFF, until the lights become syncronized again. They should become synchronized within 3-4 ON/OFF cycles.

dual colour LED fogs
I love the idea of these dual colour fogs and the different look the yellow and white give you, these will be great for camping! Installation was a bit tricky but that was a function of my vehicle not these bulbs. The colour switching was a bit finicky, I ended up with bulbs out of sync so one was yellow and one was white, but I emailed Martin and he called me back within minutes and explained that I just needed to repeatedly switch on and off and they would eventually sync. Once it was night time it was easy to see when they had synced up. I love the versatility of having both and now that I know it is easy to fix them when out of sync I would definitely recommend this product. I cannot speak highly enough of the customer service Martin provided. I now have fog, low beams and high beams from him and I would continue to use HID Vision Canada for my lighting needs.
