9005 (HB3) - 35W canbus HID kit

Hello there, I ordered this kit and install was pretty good. I had one small issue. My right side bulb would not light up in the right side position. Martin talked me thru a few options to try. I ended up getting it to work on both lights and haven’t had any issues since. Turned out to be a minor voltage problem due to a connection that needed to be bent. Thanks again for the help and not giving up on me.

Really happy with the headlights, but there were no instructions with the lights. If I had never installed HIDs before I would not have known to drill a hole in my dust cover cap. And would have tried to cram everything into the headlight housing. I also had no idea how to unpin the connection to get the 9005 headlight connection for power from the car to fit through the hole I drilled. I Had to find a random YouTube video on the subject. A one page instruction on these would make it a painless install. Or maybe a YouTube video with a QR code on the box? Dunno but they're bright as hell. Happy with the end product. HVC Reply. Hi Mike. We are just a call away if anyone needs help installing any of our lights. Including generic instructions often does not cover what is needed, for example, how to unpin the 9005 connector to fit it through the hole in the dust cap. That said, we can do better and include the instructions in future HID kit purchases, as you suggest. Cheers.

This product worked awesome, I bought these because the fan on LEDs I had installed prior had started to make a loud whine. The ballasts have a slight buzz but it is not noticeable in the vehicle whereas the LED fan was. So far so good, the light is bright and white and installation was easy.
