Daytime Running Light Solution - i8 LEDs

The i8 LEDs represent the latest advancement in daytime running light (DRL) technology for vehicles with low voltage systems. These compact LEDs operate within a voltage range of 3.8V to 10V, offering enhanced visibility compared to traditional halogens. When operating at full power (10V+), the i8's main LEDs deliver significantly improved illumination. Our testing has shown that some vehicles may still need anti-flicker decoders to eliminate flickering. However, the flicker observed is more of a gentle flutter rather than the intense strobe effect often seen with other DRL systems. Additionally, the i8 LEDs feature a built-in cooling fan at the top of the bulb. This fan is particularly beneficial for installations in exposed areas such as fog light housings. It helps dissipate heat away from the LED while keeping the lens warm during winter conditions.
